Bring The Art Of Fine Dining To Your Home.
After decades leading high-end culinary programs in casinos, restaurants, and private clubs, Chef Kevin Giunta stepped out of the corporate kitchen to bring his elevated palate directly to your table. Giunta’s Catering was born from a simple idea: that exceptional food doesn’t belong only in fine dining rooms—it belongs wherever people gather to celebrate life’s best moments.

Meet the Chef
Meet Chef Kevin Giunta, a South Jersey native bringing fine dining home through Giunta’s Catering. Serving Cape May and Atlantic County.

Chef Kevin Giunta’s love for food began long before his professional career. Growing up in South Jersey as one of six children, he spent countless hours in the kitchen watching his mother cook for the family. Those early memories inspired a lifelong passion for creating meals that bring people together.
From Humble Beginnings to Culinary Mastery
In the late 1980s, Kevin began his culinary journey in Atlantic City, working under respected European and American chefs in the city’s bustling casino kitchens. He mastered classical techniques and gained experience across every area of the kitchen, from fine dining to fast-paced catering.
His dedication and creativity soon led him to New York City, where he joined The George Lang Corporation to open the first Saks Fifth Avenue café on Fifth and 50th. For two years, Kevin cooked for high-end clientele and learned the art of balancing flavor, presentation, and hospitality.
After returning to Atlantic City in an executive role, he moved to Philadelphia, where he spent nearly a decade as a Corporate Executive Chef at DiBruno Brothers overseeing multi-unit operations and mentoring rising culinary talent. He later led kitchens at luxury golf clubs and was part of the opening team for three new casino properties in upstate New York, managing more than 400 culinary staff and organizing major events.
Coming Home
After decades in the corporate culinary world, Kevin felt the pull to return home to South Jersey. He wanted to bring everything he had learned back to the community that raised him. Through Giunta’s Catering, he now combines fine dining techniques with the warmth of home-cooked hospitality, offering unforgettable meals made with care and intention.
Currently, Chef Kevin works with Surfside Recovery Services in Ventnor, NJ, where he provides nutritious meals and teaches young men in recovery the fundamentals of cooking. By sharing his craft, he hopes to inspire confidence, discipline, and a renewed sense of purpose through food.
His Philosophy: Rooted in Simplicity, Tradition, and Hospitality
For Kevin, great cooking has always been about connection. Every menu he creates is guided by three simple principles:
-
Simplicity and quality, letting every ingredient speak for itself.
-
Respect for tradition, especially his Italian-American roots.
-
A love for hospitality, making each guest feel welcome and cared for.
